World War II ended and American Legion Post 535 is formed in Eagle and the Legion Hall is built. To pay the mortgage, a fundraiser called "The Legion Social" is held at the Village Park where the playground equipment now stands.
The social was held on a Saturday and Sunday in August with a beer tent, games, small rides for kids, and food sold by the Auxiliary.
The Eagle Fire Department was asked to join and Kettle Moraine Days was formed with a parade added on Sunday.
More local groups began growing food. The Bucket Birgade, Exhibition Greyhound Races, and Softball Tournaments were added.
The Eagle Lions Club was invited to continue the event.
