On Wednesday May 13th the Kettle Moraine Days Committee met to discuss the 58th annual festival. The festival is organized by the American Legion Post 535, Eagle Fire Department and the Eagle Lions Club. The committee has been monitoring state guidelines on COVID-19 and has been carefully considering all available options keeping the safety of festival attendees, volunteers, vendors and sponsors top priority. The committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the Kettle Moraine Days Festival for the weekend of June 26-28, 2020. The committee did not take this decision lightly as this is a great way to bring the community together. It is an important fundraiser for all three groups as well as many other community groups who use this event for fundraising.
We plan to still hold our annual raffle; tickets will be mailed in the coming weeks. Similar to other 5K races we are exploring the option of a virtual Hunger Hustle 5K Run/Walk, more information will be coming soon. We would appreciate your continued participation.
We are considering an alternative option to partner with the Eagle Police Department on Saturday, August 29, 2020 as they celebrate Picnic With The Police. The committee will keep the community informed as we consider this opportunity further.
It is the full intention of the American Legion Post 535, Eagle Fire Department and the Eagle Lions Club to continue their partnership holding the Kettle Moraine Days Festival in 2021.
